At 2 p.m. yesterday, a low pressure area was estimated at 580 kms east of Samar. The southwest monsoon affects Palawan and the western sections of Central and Southern Luzon.

Central and Southern Luzon, the entire Visayas and Mindanao will be mostly cloudy with scattered rain­showers and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.
