The tropical storm over the Caroline Islands was estimated at 2 p.m. yesterday at 1,380 kms east of Bicol with maximum winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of 100 kph. It is forecast to move west-northwest at 19 kph.

An active low pressure area was spotted at 230 kms west of Pangasinan.

Central and Southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao will be cloudy with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms, becoming frequent rains over Southern Luzon and the Visayas.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
