At 2 p.m. yesterday, the eye of "Yoyoy" was located at 1,110 kms east-southeast of Casiguran, Aurora with maximum sustained winds of 190 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 230 kph. It is moving northwest at 11 kph.
"Yoyoy" is forecast to be at 980 kms east-northeast of Casiguran or 1,030 kms east-southeast of Basco, Batanes this morning.
Meanwhile, an intertropical convergence zone is affecting the Visayas and Mindanao, including Palawan, bringing mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Coastal waters in northern and eastern Luzon will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, seas will be slight to moderate.
