Tropical Depression ‘Viring’ was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 660 kilometers east-southeast of Virac, Catanduanes at 2 p.m. yesterday.

This, as an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is affect Southern Luzon and Visayas while the tail-end of a cold front is affecting Northeastern Luzon.

Northeastern Luzon will have cloudy skies with rainshowers. Southern Luzon and Visayas will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over extreme Northern and Eastern Luzon and Eastern Visayas and the coastal waters of these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the northeast and north with slight to moderate seas.
