Tropical storm "Nanang" is now moving toward southern Mindoro and the Calamian group of islands.

At 4 p.m. yesterday, the center of "Na—nang" was spotted off the western coast of Aklan or 170 kms. east-southeast of Coron, Palawan with strongest sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph.

It is forecast to move west-northwest at 11 kph, and pass close to San Jose, Mindoro Occidental early today then cross to the Calamian group of islands. It will be 100 kms. west-northwest of Coron this afternoon.

Under Public Storm Warning Signal No. 2: Aklan, Capiz, northern Iloilo and Antique, Romblon, Cuyo and Lubang islands, Mindoro provinces and northern Palawan.

Under Public Storm Warning Signal No. 1: Metro Manila, Bataan, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, southern Quezon, Camarines provinces, Albay, Sorsogon, Burias and Bantayan islands, Marinduque, Masbate, the rest of Palawan, Antique and Iloilo, and northern Negros.
