At 1 p.m. yesterday, the center of Tropical Storm Labuyo was estimated by satellite and surface data 370 kilometers north-northwest of Itbayat Island, Batanes or at 100 kilometers south-southwest of Taipei, Taiwan with maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness up to 100 kilometers per hour. It is forecast to move north slowly.
Extreme Northern Luzon will continue to experience cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over extreme northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate blowing from the southwest and southeast with slight to moderate seas.
