MANILA, Philippines — A lone bettor in Mandaluyong won the P314.5-million Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot at the lotto draws on Sunday night.
Melquiades Robles, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) general manager and vice chairman of the board, said the lucky lone jackpot winner, who bought the winning ticket in a lotto outlet inside SM Megamall, correctly guessed the winning combination of 36-46-16-19-23-27 for the jackpot, which had accumulated to P314,591,292.80.
There were also 22 second prize winners of P120,000 for correctly guessing five of the six digit winning combination.
The PCSO jacked up the jackpot prizes of all their lotto games, including the Ultra Lotto 6/58, to P90 million last Oct. 30 under their 90th anniversary celebrations lotto marketing campaign.
The Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot was the only lotto game that remained elusive until the jackpot winner on Sunday.
The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion imposes a 20 percent tax on all lotto winnings above P10,000.
The Ultra Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
