January 2 a holiday in Misamis town

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has declared Jan. 2, 2025 as a special non-working day in Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental for the observance of the town’s founding anniversary.

The declaration was provided under Proclamation 751 signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on Nov. 18.

“It is but fitting and proper that the people of the municipality of Bonifacio be given full opportunity to participate and enjoy the celebration,” the proclamation read.

Earlier, the Palace issued Proclamation 727 declaring regular holidays and special non-working days in the country for 2025.
