MANILA, Philippines — Operation Damayan, The Philippine STAR’s humanitarian arm, received a P1-million donation from Angelo King Foundation Inc., spearheading its fund drive for families affected by the recent onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.

Earlier this year, Operation Damayan also received a P200,000 donation from electronic banking consortium Bancnet Inc. following their anniversary in July. The donation will be utilized for much-needed typhoon relief in the wake of Kristine.
