Fuel prices seen rising next week

MANILA, Philippines —  Motorists should buckle up for an expected increase in domestic pump prices next week, as rising tensions abroad continue to threaten supply chains.

Based on the four-day trading in the Mean of Platts Singapore, the Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau indicated a projected increase of P0.20 to P0.45 per liter for gasoline.

Kerosene prices are estimated to climb by P0.45 to P0.55 per liter, while diesel may see an increase of up to P0.20 per liter.
