MANILA, Philippines — Go Negosyo kicked of its entrepreneurship roadshow 3M on Wheels at SM Megamall yesterday, featuring a powerhouse lineup of businessmen and entrepreneurship experts who volunteered to mentor micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Some of the country’s most successful businessmen – including alumni of the Harvard Business School who were products of the Owner/President Management Executive Education Program (OPM) along with iconic entrepreneurship mentors – gathered at the mall in Mandaluyong City to participate in the non-profit’s free entrepreneurship mentoring event.

Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion thanked the alumni from the prestigious business school of the world’s most famous Ivy League university and the veteran mentors of Go Negosyo.

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) acting Secretary Cris Roque gave the welcome address, while Mandaluyong City Mayor Benjamin Abalos sent his message of support through City Administrator Ernesto Victorino.

The mentors from Harvard Business School are alumni of the OPM, which was designed to train executives to become entrepreneurial leaders. They were led by their board adviser, former Ambassador Joey Antonio, and joined by Go Negosyo’s Icon mentors, comprising some of the country’s leading entrepreneurs and top business executives.

Luxe Beauty’s Anna Magkawas sat down for a chat with Mercato Centrale founder RJ Ledesma to give pointers to the audience on how to use social media and content creation to promote their businesses, with event hosted Betong Sumaya.

Students from select schools from the National Capital Region, namely Centro Escolar University, STI College Cubao, Saint Joseph College and the Far Eastern University, availed of the free entrepreneurship mentoring.

Go Negosyo’s 3M on Wheels is an on-ground, nationwide mentoring roadshow that is conducted in malls nationwide.

It was started in 2018 as Mentor Me on Wheels and was inspired by the growing number of Filipinos turning to entrepreneurship to lift themselves out of poverty.

As 3M on Wheels, it covers the full scope of entrepreneurship to aspiring entrepreneurs, emphasizing the three M’s – mentorship, money, and market – that are essential in successful entrepreneurship.
