MANILA, Philippines — Release of passports will be delayed due to a system downtime caused by maintenance work, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said yesterday.
Passport applications last week were affected by the maintenance being conducted by service provider APO Production Unit, Inc.
“A few days of delay in the delivery and release of passports is expected,” the DFA said.
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation and understanding,” it added.
The DFA is coordinating with APO to ensure the resumption of normal services as soon as possible.
