MANILA, Philippines — The successive increases in prices of cooking gas continue, as LPG prices go up for the fourth consecutive month this November.
Petron announced yesterday that it will implement a P0.45 per kilogram hike in LPG prices starting today.
“This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of November,” it said.
The price of Solane-branded LPG will likewise go up by P0.45 per kg effective 6 a.m. today.
Other retailers have yet to announce their respective adjustments as of press time, but they are also expected to implement a price hike this month.
Last month, Petron raised LPG prices by P3.75 per kg, while Solane-branded LPG went up by P3.73 per kg.
Prices of 11-kg household LPG ranged from P882 to P1,054 based on the Department of Energy’s price monitoring in Metro Manila from Oct. 2 to 6.
