MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) issued two notices to airmen (NOTAM) regarding satellite launches of North Korea starting yesterday until Sept. 1.

NOTAM B3278/23, which took effect at 7:45 a.m. yesterday and will run until 8:15 a.m. on Sept. 1, provides information about the time period of North Korea’s satellite launches in specific geographical coordinates, according CAAP spokesman Eric Apolonio.

Meanwhile, NOTAM B3280/23 contains certain area navigation route segments that are temporarily closed due to the launch, as well as alternative routes for aircraft navigation during the period.
