MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines’ foreign policy remains neutral and the country is not siding with the United States, China or Russia, President Marcos told Filipino diplomats in Malacañang yesterday.

“We do not subscribe to any notion of a bipolar world,” Marcos said as he discussed partnering with other countries on trade and security.

Marcos also urged the envoys to explore opportunities beneficial to Filipinos.

The Philippines has strengthened security ties with the US, while the administration continues to reassure Beijing that the country considers China a vital partner in peace and trade.
