Ople visits slain OFW’s wake
MANILA, Philippines — Susan Ople expressed grief over the death of Filipina domestic helper Jullebee Ranara as she visited the wake yesterday.
Ople vowed that justice would prevail in Ranara’s brutal death.
The remains of Ranara, 35, were brought back home last Friday.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) gave assurance that all necessary assistance would be extended to Ranara’s family.
OWWA Administrator Arnell Ignacio said the agency is now working for the early release of insurance and other financial claims due to Jullebee’s family.
Ranara’s burned body was found in a desert. The 17-year-old son of her employer has been identified as the principal suspect in the killing.
