MANILA, Philippines — Consumers will see lower prices for cooking gas this month after two consecutive months of increases.
Petron said it would implement starting today a P4.20 per kilogram reduction in household LPG prices and P2.35 per liter for its AutoLPG prices.

“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of January,” Petron said.

Other retailers have yet to make their announcement as of press time.

However, Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau director Rino Abad last Friday said LPG prices could go down by over P4 per kilogram this month.
