MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather is expected in Metro Manila and most parts of the country over the weekend, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.
PAGASA said there is also no expected weather disturbance that may enter or develop inside the Philippine area of responsibility in the next few days.
The state weather bureau said that hot and humid weather will be experienced but isolated rainshowers may be seen in the afternoons or evenings.
This is due to the intertropical convergence zone or localized thunderstorms that may affect some parts of the country.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon is bringing cloudy skies and rains over Northern Luzon, particularly in Cagayan Valley, Aurora and the northern portion of Quezon, as well as the Ilocos Region and the Cordillera Administrative Region.
PAGASA said flash floods and landslides are still possible during at times heavy rains.
Temperatures in Metro Manila will range between 24 to 31 degrees Celsius today.
