MANILA, Philippines — Weather will be fair for almost all parts of the country in the next three days, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said yesterday.

PAGASA said no low-pressure area or typhoon is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility until Wednesday. However, it noted two weather systems that are currently affecting the country.

The first is the shear line, or the meeting of cold northeast monsoon and warm easterlies, which will bring some rain in the northern and eastern sections of Luzon. And the second, the inter-tropical
convergence zone or the meeting of winds from northern and southern hemispheres, which will bring some rainfall in Mindanao and southern portions of Palawan.

PAGASA said the northeast monsoon or amihan would continue to bring slightly colder temperatures in Northern Luzon in the next three days.

Metro Manila, with temperatures ranging from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius, is forecast to have sunny mornings but will turn cloudy with chances of rain by the afternoon to evening.

The state weather bureau said Baguio City will be much colder at 16 to 24 degrees and have fair weather until Wednesday with high chances of scattered rains in the afternoon to evening.

The Bicol region, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 32 degrees, is forecast to be mostly cloudy with some rains while most parts of the Visayas, at 25 to 31 degrees, will have fair weather and is expected to be sunnier on Tuesday and Wednesday.

PAGASA, based on its three-day weather outlook, said Mindanao will be warmer at 25 to 33 degrees while also experiencing far weather conditions.
