Eleazar gets support from NCR to Southern Tagalog
MANILA, Philippines — As the final stretch of the campaign period nears, senatorial candidate Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar made sure that his presence was felt by his supporters from northern Metro Manila to Southern Luzon.
Eleazar toured the cities of Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela on Wednesday, following his visit to Batangas a day earlier.
Yesterday, Eleazar returned to Calabarzon to campaign in Cavite which he first visited in December 2021 where he held a dialogue with his supporters.
Kahit noong ako ay hepe pa ng PNP, ginagawa ko na ito para kamustahin ang ating mga kapulisan at malaman ang kanilang kalagayan,” Eleazar said, stressing such practice of reaching out to the grassroots was carried over from his days as PNP chief in order to know firsthand the situation on the ground.
Only 18 days remain before millions of Filipinos cast their votes in the May 9 national and local elections.
Eleazar, a veteran law enforcer who spent 38 years in the uniformed service, is gunning for one of 12 Senate seats up for grabs in the polls.
