MANILA, Philippines — Presidential aspirant and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has gained the backing of another supporter of President Duterte – Mocha Uson.

The former performer, who was appointed deputy administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, was at the campaign rally of Aksyon Demokratiko in front of the mansion of former president Emilio Aguinaldo in Kawit, Cavite on Friday.

“The reason I’m here is because I switched to Isko camp,” she said in Filipino.

She commended Moreno’s accomplishments as Manila mayor who delivered quicker than most politicians the services and things that the people need.

Moreno is aspiring for the presidency with the tagline “Bilis Kilos.”

She endorsed Moreno, her fellow actor, as the “next president of the Philippines,” and even compared him with Duterte.

“I’m here to show support to the next president because I have seen in Isko the likes of President Duterte who serves the country well,” she said.

She also introduced her party-list Mothers for Change or “Mocha,” where she runs as representative.
