Go: Continue vigilance, compliance with health protocols

Cecille Suerte Felipe - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Filipinos should be more vigilant and must continue to strictly adhere to health and safety protocols as Metro Manila and 38 other areas in the country de-escalate to Alert Level 1 from March 1 to 15, Sen. Bong Go said.

“Regardless of the downgraded alert level, everyone should stay watchful as we continue to fight COVID-19. It’s critical to realize that the health guidelines will only function if everyone follows the rules and cooperates,” Go, chairman of the Senate committee on health and demography, said.

He also thanked and lauded frontliners and all essential workers anew for their compassion and sacrifices for their fellow Filipinos throughout the pandemic, which enabled the country to progressively ease restrictions and transition to the new normal.
