MANILA, Philippines — CNN Philippines temporarily stopped broadcasting yesterday, citing limitations caused by the implementation of health protocols at its broadcast center in Mandaluyong City.
“We will temporarily go off-air. Our newscasts will still be available on Facebook Live,” the company said in a statement.
It urged viewers to visit its digital and social media platforms.
The media outfit said it would resume regular programming today at noon.
Metro Manila is experiencing a surge in COVID-19 infections anew, which experts attributed to the holiday season and the Omicron variant.
