LPG prices up
MANILA, Philippines — Retailers of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will raise prices today.
In a text advisory, Petron Corp. implemented a P5.20 per kilogram hike in LPG prices effective 12:01 a.m.
Meanwhile, AutoLPG prices will likewise increase by P2.90 per liter at the same time.
“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of July,” Petron said.
On the other hand, prices of Solane-branded LPG rose by P5.19 per kilogram VAT inclusive starting 6 a.m.
Other retailers have yet to announce their respective price adjustments.
Local retailers track the monthly price benchmark set by Saudi Arabia’s state-owned oil company Saudi Aramco, which set propane prices at $620 a ton, a $90 increase from the previous month.
