Monsoon affects Philippines
Aurora, Cagayan Valley, the Cordilleras and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains because of the northeast monsoon.?

MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon and Eastern Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said yesterday.?

Aurora, Cagayan Valley, the Cordilleras and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains because of the northeast monsoon.?

“Davao region and Soccsksargen (South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani and General Santos) will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the intertropical convergence zone,” PAGASA said.?

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon as well as Eastern Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains brought by the northeast monsoon.?

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers because of localized thunderstorms.?

Coastal waters in Northern Luzon and in the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, Eastern Visayas will be rough. ???
