1,500 jobs up for grabs in government job fairs

MANILA, Philippines — With 1,500 job vacancies up for grabs, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) is inviting all job seekers to participate in the 2019 Government Job Fair on Sept. 24.

The activity forms part of the 2019 Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) celebration with the theme CSC at 119: Upholding Integrity and Building a High-Trust Society.

While the CSC central and regional offices will hold online and onsite job fairs in selected venues nationwide, the job fair for Metro Manila will be held at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City on Sept. 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The CSC said 16 agencies will participate in the job fair, including the Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Internal Revenue, City Government of Malabon, Department of Education-National Capital Region, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Transportation, Development Bank of the Philippines and Metro Manila Development Authority.

The other agencies include the National Center for Mental Health, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp., Philippine Health Insurance Corp., Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, Securities and Exchange Commission, and the University of the Philippines System.

The CSC said interested job seekers should register online through the Eventbrite site via http://bit.ly/2019 CSCNCRJobFair.

Jobseekers are advised to bring fully accomplished personal data sheet or PDS (CSC Form 212 Revised 2017), a photocopy of the performance rating in the last rating period (if applicable), a photocopy of certificate of eligibility/license and a photocopy of training certificates (if applicable).
