MANILA, Philippines — Several local government units announced class suspensions for Tuesday, July 2, due to the inclement weather brought by Tropical Depression Egay and the southwest monsoon.
In its 10 a.m. advisory Monday, state weather bureau PAGASA said "Egay" is expected to be at 60 km west of Basco, Batanes Tuesday morning.
“Habagat” or the southwest monsoon meanwhile drenched most of Luzon and Western Visayas Monday, prompting several class suspensions.
