Senate staff and employees were all rooting for me. So nice to know that people who I’ve woked with are the ones praying and supporting me. They are all sad and concerned.

The Commission on Elections is looking to hold the proclamation of the new set of senators by Tuesday.
As of 1 p.m., the Comelec, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers, only has five certificates of canvass (COCs) left to tabulate for the 2019 midterm elections.
The poll body is also waiting for the COCs from Jones, Isabela, where special elections are being held after vote counting machines were set on fire. — Patricia Lourdes Viray with reports from Rosette Adel
