Grand Lotto 6/55 prize to soar to P217 Million

MANILA, Philippines — The jackpot of the Grand Lotto 6/55 is estimated to reach P217 million by tonight’s draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said yesterday.

No one guessed the winning combination for Saturday night’s draw, 23-28-19-22-08-51, which had a jackpot of P212,377,216.

Nineteen bettors, however, guessed five of the six-digit combination and won a consolation prize of P87,600 each.

The Grand Lotto 6/55 was last won in September by a lone bettor from Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo, who bagged P53.4 million.

The Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
