PAGASA: Light rains expected during Nazarene traslacion
MANILA, Philippines — Devotees of the Black Nazarene who will take part during the annual procession on Wednesday may have to bring umbrellas as light rains are expected throughout the day.
State weather bureau PAGASA said there is no weather disturbance expected to affect the country in the next five days.
But according to its special weather outlook for Metro Manila during the Feast of Black Nazarene, PAGASA said “partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains” are expected during traslacion.
The temperature during the annual procession is expected to range from 22 to 30 °C.

Quiapo Church officials said at least five million devotees may join the procession featuring the image of Black Nazarene.
The traslacion from Quirino Granstand to Quiapo Church spans approximately 6.1 kilometers, National Capital Region Police Office Director Guillermo Eleazar said.
Last year, the traslacion took 22 hours to complete. This year’s event carries the theme “Hinirang at Pinili Upang Maging Lingkod Niya.” — Gaea Katreena Cabico
