LIST: Areas flooded on December 30 due to ‘Usman’
MANILA, Philippines— Several provinces were flooded on Sunday due to the incessant rain caused by a Low Pressure Area previously known as Tropical Depression “Usman.”
Among the areas affected are provinces in the Bicol region and the provinces of Oriental Mindoro and Isabela.
PAGASA's flood forecasting branch said Buhi Station, or Lake Buhi in Camarines Sur, is still under critical level, meaning there was a slow rise of water level which will continue until Sunday afternoon. It said there is widespread flooding in municipalities with low-lying areas, especially in Buhi and Iriga.
The state weather bureau also warned that the Bicol region may experience local flooding in low-lying urban areas, roadsides and rice lands.
It advised the residents and the local disaster risk reduction and management councils concerned to take appropriate action.
Here are the updates on road conditions and flooded areas on December 30.
