MANILA, Philippines—Classes and work in some areas remain suspended on November 21, Wednesday due to the anticipated bad weather brought by Tropical Depression “Samuel.”
The state weather bureau said Samuel is expected to make landfall in the area between the southern portion of Eastern Samar and Dinagat Islands on Tuesday night.
It also warned residents of scattered to widespread moderate to heavy rains with gusty winds over the areas of Visayas, CARAGA, MIMAROPA, provinces of Misamis Oriental, Camiguin and Masbate, including Ticao Island.

This prompted several local government units to call off classes and work anew.
Meanwhile, the city government of Taguig announced that classes and government works in selected areas including Barangays Western Bicutan, Fort Bonifacio, Pinagsama, are suspended due to the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Xi is staying at the Shangri-la The Fort, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
