Walang Pasok: Class suspensions for November 20

Several classes are suspended on November 20, Tuesday due to Tropical Depression "Samuel" and the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

MANILA, Philippines — Several local government units called off classes on Tuesday, November 20, as their areas brace for Tropical Depression “Samuel.”

On Friday, Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada also the announced suspension of classes as well as work in city government offices on Tuesday due to the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio also suspended work in all courts in the country's capital, including the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals in view of the state visit.

The Manila Police District earlier announced that it would implement temporary road closures for the state visit. It also recommended cancellation of classes.

Pre-School to Senior High School 

  • Bukidnon - San Fernando 

  • Cebu - Danao City

  • Misamis Oriental - Gingoog City (Elementary and High School)

Pre-School To Elementary 

  • Surigao del sur - Bayabas; Bislig and Hinatuan (Pre-school)
