After the Consultative Committee to Review the 1987 Constitution announced last week that it was ready to submit the draft constitution that will allow the shift of the current system of government to a federalist one, there there were speculations on its content as well as calls for transparency for the body.

 

On Monday, the official document submitted for President Rodrigo Duterte's approval was released. Titled "Power to the People: Bayanihan Federalism, Power to the Regions" described as a "draft constitution for a strong, indissoluble republic," the 110-page document consists of 22 articles and a preamble. — with reports from Alexis Romero
