MANILA, Philippines — June 15, the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, has been declared a regular holiday.
Special assistant to the President Christopher Go said President Duterte signed yesterday Proclamation No. 514, declaring Eid’l Fitr as a regular holiday throughout the country.
Eid’l Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, which was declared a national holiday by Republic Act 9177 enacted in 2002.
