Robredo children remember mom’s birthday

MANILA, Philippines — The children of Vice President Leni Robredo on Monday took to social media to greet her on her birthday.

The vice president is celebrating her 53^rd birthday.

In their separate greetings, sisters, Aika and Tricia, described the vice president as a “cool mom.” The daughters of Leni and late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo showed love to their mother by paying tribute to her online.

"Happy happy birthday to the coolest tiger mom that I know!! Please stop cleaning our unit when it’s close to your birthday so you don’t ruin our surprise for you," Aika's greeting read.

"I’d tell you to stay strong but you’re already the strongest woman I know," an excerpt of Tricia's greeting read.

Meanwhile, Leni’s party mate, Liberal Party President Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan also greeted the vice president in a Twitter post.

“We are always thankful for your principle and inspiration. Happy birthday Vice President,” Kiko said in Filipino.
