Bar results out on April 26

There were a total of 7,227 law graduates who were allowed to take the bar exam, but only 6,750 finished the four days of tests.

MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court Public Information Office on Thursday has announced that it will release the results of the 2017 bar exam on April 26.

The SC justices will hold a special en banc (full court) session on the said day to deliberate on the results.

SC Spokesperson Theodore Te said that Associate Justice Lucas Bersamin will officially announce the results.

The names of the passers will be flashed on a screen at the SC quadrangle in Padre Faura St. Manila.

A list of the successful examinees will also be posted on the SC’s official website.

The SC held the bar exams on all Sundays of November 2017 at the University of the Santo Tomas. The exam covered Political Law and Labor law, Civil Law and Taxation, Mercantille Law and Criminal Law, Remedial law and Legal Ethics and Practical Exercises.
