SWS: Trust in Robredo rebounds to 'very good' in Q4 2017
MANILA, Philippines — Public trust in Vice President Leni Robredo significantly recovered in the last three months of 2017, a Social Weather Stations survey released on Tuesday found.
Net trust, used by SWS as rating of the people’s faith in the vice president, was up 16 points in the fourth quarter to +52 (66 percent much trust, 14 percent little trust), classified as “very good” in the survey of 1,200 Filipinos conducted from December 8 to 16 last year.
That was one grade up from the “good” +36 in the third quarter, which saw an eight-point drop.
According to the pollster, public satisfaction with Robredo’s performance was higher among those with much trust in her.

"VP Robredo is perceived as doing a good job and avoiding controversy. She's not perceived as anti-Duterte," said Ramon Casiple, head of the Institute for Electoral and Political Reforms.
Robredo’s net trust score likewise clocked solid increases across geographical areas, except in Metro Manila, where it gained five points to +27.
It surged 26 points in Mindanao and was up 16 points in both Visayas and Balance Luzon.
Double-digit increments were also recorded in both rural and urban areas, as well as across socioeconomic classes.
The vice president’s net trust rating sharply went up among both men and women, across age groups and educational levels.
Based on SWS methodology for net trust ratings, a score of 70 and above is considered excellent, 50 to 69 is very good, 30-49 good and 10-29 moderate.
The poll has sampling error margins of ±3% for national percentages, and ±6% each for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
