MANILA, Philippines — Last Sept. 29, The Philippine STAR’s social arm, Operation Damayan, headed to Barangay Payatas B in Quezon City to conduct a medical and dental mission for some 1,000 residents in the area.
It was a welcome treat for the many families who came, since health concerns for them often take a backseat to more pressing priorities.
For Operation Damayan, it was a chance to reconnect with the community where it regularly conducts outreach activities to benefit residents.
