Rape victim killed

LAGUNA, Philippines – A woman believed to be a victim of rape was found dead at a creek in Barangay Macabling in Santa Rosa City on Monday.

Superintendent Joel Estaris, city police chief, identified the  victim as Gina San Miguel, 33.

Jovy Arceo, a barangay women’s desk officer, and her husband found the body of the victim, which was naked and bore hack wounds, on their way to the barangay hall at around 6:30 a.m.

Probers are eyeing a love triangle as the motive for the killing.
