Virjun 4-cock derby under way
MANILA, Philippines - Metro Manila and Batangas cockers gear up for a fierce battle in the Virjun sa Pasay 4-cock derby at Pasay Cockpit today.
More than 60 fights are on tap in the event hosted by Jun Manguera of Batangas and backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000.
Meanwhile, the grand finals of the 87-entry Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) 7-bullstag derby will be held Friday, also at PCC.
Four more participants tallied three wins each in the 3-bullstag elims last Thursday, including Rep. Patrick Antonio (Sagupaan Pasay Big Event May 5), Tony Espinosa (Nueve de Pebrero), Raymund Burgos (RB Sta. Maria) and Dax Ganzon (DG Yummy Charize).
Eleven cockers posted three wins each and shared the P150,000 prize from the guaranteed prize of P1.305 million.
