'Auring' makes second landfall in Bohol

MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression Auring has made its second landfall ovary Ubay, Bohol on Monday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

At 7 a.m., the weather disturbance was located in the vicinity of Talibon, Bohol or at 40 km southeast of Mactan, Cebu.

"Auring" packs maximum sustained winds of 54 kph and gusts of up to 75 kph. It is expected to move west at 9 kph.

Moderate to heavy within the 300-km diameter of the tropical depression.

"Fisherfolks and those with small seacrafts are advised not to venture out over the eastern seaboard of Visayas and of Mindanao," PAGASA said.

The tropical depression is forecasted to exit the Philippine area of responsibility by Friday.
