Liza Soberano, Zanjoe Marudo named ‘Best dressed’ in Star Magic Ball

MANILA, Philippines — Actress Liza Soberano and actor Zanjoe Marudo on Saturday evening bagged the most coveted Best Dressed award at the Star Magic Ball 2016.

Liza was a scene-stealer in her floor-length Michael Cinco gown while the dashing Zanjoe snagged the title with his Lanvin suit.

The 18-year-old Liza walked on the red carpet with date and rumored boyfriend Enrique Gil while Zanjoe embraced his singlehood on the red carpet.

Liza was lauded by netizens and celebrities alike for her new look pimped by her glam squad Mickey See, Brent Sales and stylist Perry Tabora. She surely turned heads in the Kapamilya event which left netizens asking: "How to be you po?"

Star Magic Ball also awarded Pinoy Big Brother alumna Elisse Joson a special award of Pond’s Beautiful Belle of the Night. She shone in her white silk gown.

Aside from the three award recipients, "Forevermore" co-stars of Liza and Enrique, Sofia Andres and Diego Loyzaga, won as “Couple of the Night.” The two stars were a perfect match in Sofia’s black beaded halter gown and the black suit and bow tie of Diego.

The annual Star Magic Ball is now in its 10th year and was held at the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La. It was graced by hundreds of Kapamilya stars including ABS-CBN executives.
