MANILA, Philippines – Presidential aspirant Sen. Grace Poe on Thursday revealed that she will appoint Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte as crime czar if she wins the presidential race in the May 9 elections.
Duterte earlier said that he will offer the tourism post to Poe if he wins the presidential race.
"In exchange, I want to offer to him the position as crime czar because of what he said that he will finish the problems of criminality in six months," Poe told members of the press.

Poe claimed that Querubin said that he is willing to give way for Duterte to be the crime czar.
On the other hand, the senator admitted that she had been meeting with former President Fidel V. Ramos for consultation.
"I’ve been meeting with him since last year. Every time we talked, he has a lot of topics to discuss, about West Philippine Sea, economy, how to increase employment and other issues," Poe said.
