MANILA, Philippines – The family and friends of a student of the University of the Philippines Diliman appeals for the public’s help after the freshman student went missing during his enrollment last Tuesday.

In her Facebook account, the missing student’s aunt, Marissa Patawaran, called for help in locating her 18-year-old nephew named Ian Jasper Calalang, who was last contacted on Tuesday.

“He was able to inform his parents that he was already inside the campus at around 8:30 a.m. This was his LAST text message! From then on till now... January13, 2016, 1:30 p.m., he is nowhere to be found nor be reached even his cellphone,” Patawaran said in her Facebook post.

Calalang, missing for three days now, reportedly brought cash supposedly for his enrollment but after the family filed a report at the UP Diliman police on Wednesday afternoon, the report reached the Office of the Chancellor and they later on learned that the student was not able to enroll.

The family is seeking for public’s help about any information on the Calalang’s whereabouts. His family can be contacted in the following numbers: 0932-222-0864; 0917-339-0488.
