MANILA, Philippines – State weather bureau PAGASA on Friday said the country will experience good weather for Christmas day, except for some isolated rain showers.
PAGASA said the northeast monsoon and easterlies are two weather systems affecting the country. The northeast monsoon affects extreme Northern Luzon while easterlies prevail in the eastern part of the country.
The agency said Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan islands will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains on Friday.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
No gale warning was issued its Friday advisory.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to northeast will be experienced in the archipelago with slight to moderate seas. Fisherfolk can venture safely into the seas.
