The season of Magic at SM City North EDSA

MANILA, Philippines - Well-loved Disney characters recently made a stop at the happiest mall this Christmas as SM City North EDSA and Disney, one of the world’s leading entertainment giants, partner to bring a festive Christmas experience to kids of all ages at SM City North EDSA’s Season of Magic.

The Walt Disney Company, now known as Disney, was first established in 1923 by founders Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney as a cartoon studio.  It was then known as the Disney Brothers Studio. Since then, Disney has grown into a legendary brand and a leader in American animation industry, live-action film production, television and theme parks.

The Block Atrium has been transformed into a Disney Christmas City where mall goers can enter a magical town with Disney’s well-loved characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and Pluto. From Nov. 6 to Jan. 10, SM City North EDSA will be overflowing with Christmas gift boxes, colorful Christmas garlands and a 24-foot high Christmas tree centerpiece that sets the joyful mood for the holidays.

Disney collectors can also find a wide range of popular Disney souvenirs, collectibles, toys, apparel and much more at the Disney Gift Shop.

The launch also highlighted the 30th anniversary of the SM Supermalls with a special cake-lighting ceremony led by SM SVP for operations Steven Tan and SM SVP for marketing Jonjon Agustin.
