MANILA, Philippines - Vice Presidential bet Sen. Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. on Thursday bared that he is willing to undergo a DNA test to help presidential aspirant Sen. Grace Poe in finding her biological relatives.

"Walang problema. I don’t see how that will help her but if it will, why not?" Marcos told members of the press.

Poe earlier admitted that the DNA test she took with her supposed relatives gave negative results.

The senator is rumored to be the daughter of the late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and actress Rosemarie Sonora, the sister of Poe's adoptive mother, Susan Roces.

"Anong makikita sa DNA test? Na anak ako ng tatay ko at nanay ko," Marcos Jr. said.

The vice presidential aspirant added that he would welcome Poe to the Marcos family if proven that they are siblings.

Poe underwent a DNA test to prove that she is a natural-born Filipino following the disqualification case filed against her before the Senate Electoral Tribunal.

She is also facing several disqualification cases before the Commission on Elections.
