MANILA, Philippines — President Benigno Aquino III will visit victims of Typhoon "Lando" in Nueva Ecija on Monday.
According to Aquino's updated schedule released by Malacañang this morning, the president will visit Santa Rosa town to distribute relief aid to typhoon victims.
Nueva Ecija and neighboring Aurora province were the hardest hit areas in Luzon.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said in its latest report that Palayan City, Gapan and Cabanatuan City were flooded on Sunday following heavy rains brought by Lando.
Nigel Lontoc of the Office of Civil Defense said some residents in low-lying villages were trapped on rooftops by floodwaters.
Nueva Ecija Gov. Aurelio Umali told ANC that two persons were reported dead in Palayan City. He said bodies were retrieved from the floodwaters in the area.
The NDRRMC said Lando has affected 4,892 families or 20,492 people in the regions of Northern Luzon, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa and the Cordillera Administrative Region.
Over 9,800 of the typhoon victims were from Aurora. In Nueva Ecija, 3,758 of the 4,467 typhoon victims in the province were from Cabanatuan City.
A total of 17 flooding incidents were monitored in Northern Luzon, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon and Metro Manila, the NDRMMC also said.
