MANILA, Philippines - Flooding is expected in four provinces in Luzon as Typhoon Lando continues to dump rains in the country, the weather bureau said in its latest advisory on Monday.

In its 4 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) raised a yellow rainfall warning in Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bataan and Zambales. Flooding is expected in low-lying areas.

Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains affecting Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga and portions of Cavite, Batanga, Laguna, Rizal and northern Quezon may persist for two to three hours, PAGASA noted.

"The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to monitor the weather condition and watch for the next advisory to be issued at 7 a.m. today," the weather bureau said.
